It seems like a long time ago when I started my world journey. Meanwhile, I have lived in 9 countries, 15 cities, and moved 26 times and counting...

 

When I was able to see the empty nest ahead of me, I went back to studying the one subject that interested me the most, psychology. A German university was my choice and I got very interested in Pedagogical Psychology, most of all the teen years. 

 

At one point during my daughter´s teenage years, she was hiding more in her room, sharing less of what was going on and I remember thinking "I wish she could talk to a professional adult". Suddenly my daughter posed the question if she could consult with a life coach.  I thought it was a brilliant idea and couldn´t believe that I hadn´t come up with it... I guess it was because I didn´t want to admit to myself that sometimes you need the help of other people, especially when you have no family or good friends nearby.  Pretty soon, I saw the change in my daughter, she came out of her room more often and talked again. I observed how her self-esteem grew, how she set goals and made plans for her future. 

 

This change in her made me realize that there are times in life when being a "good mom" isn´t enough, when you reach a limit and you need somebody else your daughter can confidentially work things out with. And that that´s okay!

 

After I got certified as a Teen Girl Life coach, I decided that I wanted to provide my coaching services to as many girls as possible. That is why I offer to coach online, via video conference on Zoom, Facetime or Skype. This way, we can connect worldwide as I will be just around the corner from you! I have lots of cross-cultural experience, I understand different nationalities and am able to coach in 3 languages (English, Spanish, and German).
